National Housing Crisis Task Force

Served as Executive Director and primary author of two major national policy documents: a Federal Housing Policy Agenda, which has informed several pieces of legislation in Congress, and a State and Local Housing Action Plan, which profiled 15 high-impact innovations in housing production and preservation. Coordinated a bipartisan task force of 28 members, 50+ practitioner interviews, and a full staff and consultant team. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor to the Task Force.

Nowak Metro Finance Lab, Drexel University

In partnership with Nueva Esperanza, Inc., a community development organization serving Latino neighborhoods in Eastern North Philadelphia, developed a comprehensive anti-displacement strategy for residential and commercial tenants. The strategy produced 18 implementable policies and programs for housing stability.

Nowak Metro Finance Lab, Drexel University

Across two reports, examined the growing influence of investors on housing markets in Philadelphia, Jacksonville, and Richmond, finding activity most concentrated in distressed, disproportionately non-white neighborhoods. Findings were covered by NPR Marketplace, Governing Magazine, and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
